Associative Remote Viewing binds an impression to a future outcome through an arbitrary association: two targets, one bound to each possible result, revealed only after the judgement is locked. The design is elegant and unusually easy to get wrong.
Target pools
Targets must be orthogonal — distinct in imagery, affect and sensory register — or judging collapses into a coin flip dressed up as an assessment. We generate pools programmatically, score them for pairwise similarity, and retire any target that has been used inside a rolling window.
Separation of roles
The person who runs the session cannot be the person who judges it, and neither may know the target assignment. Assignment happens after the judgement is committed and timestamped. Every step is logged so the sequence can be reconstructed by a third party.
Most published failures in this literature are not failures of the phenomenon. They are failures of separation.
Sample size, decided in advance
Optional stopping is the fastest route to a false positive. Our sample size, analysis plan and exclusion criteria are fixed and hashed before the first session runs, and published alongside the result whichever way it lands.
